OVERSEAS EDUCATION
The best minds of the country usually settle abroad to live a better life. Why not be one of them!?
  • Do you have aspirations and ambitions to go to a different country?
  • Do you dream of studying or working abroad? If yes is the answer, strike like lightening and embrace your path to a glorious destiny.
Canada
Located in north of the North American continent, the country of Canada is bordered by the USA in its south and Alaska at its west. With French as the most commonly spoken language, Canada has been known for its extreme cold winters, the Niagara Falls and the most recent events of the refugee acceptance, reminding the world of the friendly and accommodating nature of the Canadians. The country has held its firm belief in the fact that ‘all citizens are equal and that diversity makes us a stronger country’. The multicultural availability in the country therefore is proof that it makes all feel the equality and therefore everyone is at home and about 20% of the Canadians were born outside (Government of Canada website).
However, this is a place to learn more and it is the second largest country in the world after Russia by land area and is covered with a lot of lakes. Although the name means village, it was previously named as New France. Along with the typical symbol of the maple leaf of Canada, it has also been the home ground for the birth of diverse fields such as IMAX, Basketball, the pacemaker and even the Blackberry phone.
Education Scenario
Very recently the government of Canada in association with their International Education Strategy announced that they have a goal to double the total number of full time international students. They also intend to retain this skill by providing more opportunities for students to work while studying and remain in the country as permanent residents after graduating as well.
The education system in Canada allows students to take up the opportunities in colleges, universities, private career colleges and vocational and technical schools.

Expenses (Estimated Costs)
A student would incur living as well as school/university fees which vary from other amounts including insurance, expenses for books, stationary, etc. Although the latter part would vary from student to student on the basis of individual standard of living, the cost of tuition fees shall be fixed by the University on an annual amount basis. However, cost per year of tuition fees are subject to change for a program every year and will be mentioned on the website of each university.
Tuition fees : As international students, the cost of education is higher than that of the local residents. Studying in Canada is more economical than most other international destinations. The costs will differ from university to university or college as well as the program. However, on an average the following costs can be considered. Students take on an average 2-3 years on an average to get a return in the investment made for their education.
Canada might be one of the most coveted destinations for international students, but unfortunately studying here doesn’t come cheap. For those keen to study in Canada but in need of financial support, we’ve rounded up a selection of scholarships for international students, provided by the Canadian government, individual Canadian universities, and other organizations.
